You retain full ownership of all files and content you store through Briefcase. By using the Service, you grant Briefcase a limited, non-exclusive licence to route, store (in encrypted form), and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the Service.
Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, Briefcase cannot access, view, or use your content for any purpose other than transmission and storage.
You are solely responsible for the content you store using Briefcase and for ensuring you have the right to store and share that content.
Briefcase provides 100 MB of free storage. Additional storage is provided by connecting your own Google Drive accounts, which are subject to Google's own storage limits and terms.
We reserve the right to modify storage allocations with reasonable notice to users. We will notify you via the app or email before making any changes that affect your existing data.
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. You use the Service at your own risk.
Data loss disclaimer: While we take every reasonable precaution, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from forgotten passwords (which cannot be recovered), disconnected Google accounts, Google account deletion, or device loss. We strongly recommend maintaining backups of important data.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your server-side account data will be removed within 30 days. Encrypted files stored in your Google Drive remain there and are not deleted by Briefcase — you must delete them manually if desired.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
